Dell believes that in a distant area, a little more size is worth it for 4K video calling.

Dell’s Ultrasharp displays have been known for their strength when it comes to professional use cases, but they’ve recently become one of Apple’s best options for MacBook Pro owners looking for an affordable monitor option. It’s been almost two years since we first saw Dell’s new XPS line at CES 2014, but now they’re back for another round.

It comes with an HDMI cable for connecting to external displays and two USB 3.0 ports. Its display supports 4K resolutions at 60 Hz (3840 × 2160) and 30Hz (2560 × 1440). With its five 10 Gb/s USB-C port, it acts like a USB hub. What makes the monitor stand out from the crowd is its 4K camera.

These displays are designed for professional use by people who need accurate colors, such as graphic artists, web developers, marketers, and so on. A high resolution display (4k) is essential. So far, Dell has been focusing its efforts on making sure that employees working from home don’t miss out on their company perks like free snacks and drinks. Now, they might just want to ensure that people who aren’t at an office desk get some sort of productivity boost too.

The IPS monitor has a 2000:1 typical contrast ratio, supports the VESA Display Hdr400 standard, and provides a maxiumum brightness of 400 nit. Unfortunately, excluding monitors from serious video work means they won’t be able to handle some things like gaming and photo editing well at all.

We’re aiming for 99% coverage across both Adobe RGB (1998) and ProPhoto RGB (2002). In terms of response times, this display has an average response time of 3 ms (3 milliseconds), making it suitable for fast action games like first person shooters. However, because its maximum refresh rate is limited to 60Hz, it may be unsuitable for slower paced games such as strategy titles.

It’s designed a bit oddly; there’s a large bezel around just the top, but not the bottom. And its camera bump is quite big. It’s big enough for people who use their computer primarily at home but small enough so they don’t feel like they’re using something too large when they go into Given that the camera is its defining feature, having one built into an external display makes perfect sense.

Luckily, it has the key characteristics needed to attract its target market of mainly Mac-using professionals: It’s got USB-C ports and supports chaining multiple monitors together via just one cable. It may be fairly specific to certain types of workers, but it’s worth checking out for two reasons: First, it probably has one of the better built-in webcameras available; second, its unique design makes it easier than most monitors to use with an external webcam.

Dell has announced plans for its first 4K Ultra HD display, called U3223QZ, which will hit stores beginning March 29. Pricing has not yet been announced for this product. The Dell UltraSharp U3223QZ features a 3840 x 2160 resolution and offers support for HDR10 content. It comes with an HDMI connector for connecting to external displays or projectors and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type C connectors for charging and data transfer. Its display supports 4k resolutions at 60 Hz (3720×2160) and 30Hz(2560×1440). With its five 10Gb/s USB-C ports, it acts like a hub. What makes the display stand out from the crowd are its four cameras. These allow you to take photos in 4K resolution up to 120 fps, record videos in 4K resolution up tp 240 fps, and stream live footage to YouTube Live.

The Acer XR341CK is a 34″ curved ultra-wide monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 3440×1440 resolution. It has a 1920×1080 screen resolution, 300 cd/m² brightness, 350:1 contrast ratio,
